3rd of February - Finally Premier League for Alves
Brazilian football star Afonso Alves is about to close a 16 mln. deal and sign for the English side Middlesbrough fc (Boro // Mfc). Today, Afonso Alves received his working permit to work in the UK and there are no boudaries left for him to play in England.
The money for Alves must be paid to Sc Heerenveen that still owns the player. This already had been decided in last weeks court meeting in front of AZ Alkmaar.
For Middlesbrough this will be the most expensive deal ever in its club history. Last record holder was the Italian football player Massimo Maccarone who moved to Boro for the amount of 11,7 mln. Euro to the Britisch club.
